This Visit to Wetlands with Rumah Faith on 21 August 1999 won the Soroptimist International Federation Award for Outstanding Practice in the Environment.
23 children from Rumah Faith in Kajang, a home for children from broken families, were treated to an environmental awareness outing to the Paya Indah Wetlands Sanctuary by the Soroptimist International Club of Petaling Jaya.
